On Friday we teamed up with Jan from aMuse Artisanal Finery, style girl Jess James, and Erica Adams and Luis Ayala from Nsalo Salon for an editorial fashion shoot showcasing some new styles now available at aMuse.  Our models Sarah Elizabeth and Danielle DeHardt braved the heat, bugs, wasps, old falling down barns and a full day's worth of shooting to help create these images.  Here are some of our favorites.

For most of our lighting setups we used a Quantum qflash with a 3ft Creative Light octobox triggered with a Pocket Wizard.  If possible we used the sun as a hairlight and filled with the Quantum.  We took a few videos so hopefully we'll have one posted soon.  Stay tuned!

Patrick's senior session was a lot of fun. He's a senior at Topsail High School and has a very versatile look which allowed him to go from urban grunge to GQ to bad boy with just a few clothing changes! We had a blast. We started downtown in the alleys and ended up back in the studio for cap and gown and formal pictures. Of course we had to break out some fashionable poses once we were finished with the boring stuff! Here are some of our favorites from his senior pictures

Today we photographed Ms Bond, Whitney Bond that is!  We had a blast walking the streets of Wilmington for her session.  After we finished downtown we headed back to the studio for some in studio fun.  Here are a few of our favorites!  Enjoy.

Carmen and Ricky were wed April 16 at St. Thomas Preservation Hall in downtown Wilmington. It was stormy day, but Carmen heard a superstition that if you stick a knife in the ground on your wedding day, it will not rain. Well it worked! The rest of North Carolina was battered with tornadoes, but not a drop of rain fell on Carmen and Ricky's wedding! Carmen and Ricky even had time for a beautiful and touching reveal, as well as some stormy couple's pictures after the ceremony.
