I am loving North Carolina’s summer thunderstorms!
We took the girls to the beach on Sunday. When we first arrived, there was a thunderstorm way off in the distance, so we stayed and played. We left the beach when when a couple lightning bolts struck within a few hundred yards of us… possibly the loudest sound I’ve ever heard!
Last night, there was quite a show of lightning in the skies across the river… here’s my favorite image:
