For Mrs. O, celebrating her 40th birthday meant more than just reaching a milestone. It was a call to do something uniquely for herself—a rare and necessary act of self-care. Her boudoir confidence journey was about more than taking beautiful photos; it was a moment to reconnect with her self-worth and honor the woman she is today.

As Mrs. O shares in her own words, this boudoir experience became a gift to herself, one that reawakened her confidence and reminded her of the value of treating herself. In her own words…Mrs. O’s Boudoir Confidence Journey
1. What made you choose Boudoir by indigosilver studio?
I did quite an extensive Google search. The professionalism and passion is what drew me to Indigo Silver. The images I saw were beautiful and classy. I loved the different sets. Everything about the experience seemed to be exactly what I was looking for – this was out of my comfort zone, and I needed someone to hold my hand through the process, which I felt Indigo Silver could deliver.
2. What were you nervous about going into your session?
I was nervous about the experience in its entirety. It’s a lot and not something most of us are comfortable with, so hitting send on the website to get more information and requesting a consultation was the hardest thing BUT, once I hit send Lori stepped in to make the rest seem easy which put me as ease. I still had my moments of “but what about this”, but I always felt comforted by the emails sent to prep you for your shoot, and because of this when the day arrived, I was way more excited then nervous.
3. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?
Thrilled, accomplished, proud. I was pretty honest with people I knew and told them I was doing a boudoir shoot. I was surprised and shocked by how many people told me they had thought about doing one and never could muster the courage or just hadn’t made the time. It was these comments that made me proud of myself for following through. For taking the “I want to do that” to “I did that” – and that in itself gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment. I feel people in general, but especially women, are rushing to the next thing… the next practice, school activity, due date, milestone, work/life goal, and we don’t take a moment to live in the here and now, to appreciate what we have accomplished and where we are today and in this moment. Doing this shoot made me live in and commemorate a moment that I will not forget.
4. What was your favorite part of this experience?
My favorite part of the experience was that they small details has been accounted for proactively. I did not have to think or worry. Lori and Indigo Silver had it all accounted for on my behalf. As a mom of three, wife, daughter, mother, etc. I spend a lot of time ensuring others are ok and all of the life things handled. From the second I wanted into the studio, everything was taken care of and planned. Where to go and what to bring (check), makeup (check), hair (check), feeling relaxed and comfortable (check), good music and vibes (check), where to go and what to do when you are there and have no clue what you should be doing (double check). I literally thought about nothing, relaxed, and let Lori and the experience guide me, this in itself was priceless to me.
5. If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
Zero regrets, just do it! Did I have to muster up the courage? Yes! It is going to push you out of your comfort zone? Yes! Is it worth it? Absolutely! I am so proud and have a sense of accomplishment by taking the time to do this for myself. For commemorating a moment in time and thinking only about myself for a day. For not only taking the day to myself, but taking the day to create an experience and memory that will last a lifetime, with the physical images as an output being a bonus. From start to finish the experience Lori and Indigo Silver ensure their clients have is incredible. I have never felt so relaxed, amazing, and sexy just being me – in my birthday suit no less (lol). Do this for yourself – for your confidence, for affirmation, and for just an overall amazing experience with other strong women (Lori and her team) who are dedicated to supporting you and making you feel incredible in your own skin.
